Curvy Charlotte Coyle Celebrates Big Beautiful Women

Plus size model Charlotte Coyle left behind a legacy before going back home to her native Ireland. The curvy celebrity made the waves when she launched the first “Fat Beauty Contest” in UK in 2006, and since then has been an outspoken advocate for the advancement of big beautiful women in the fashion industry.

Although not very long in the modeling business, Charlotte Coyle has learned enough about the tragedy of trying to be thin. She admits that even as a young and ordinary girl she too, went through that suicidal cycle of bingeing and dieting and bingeing all over again. But now she is convinced that what she seeks is “balance in beauty. It shouldn’t be skinny or nothing,” and urges others to do the same. She believes that while society in general is ready and willing to accept the change in its perception of “curvaceous”, the fashionistas have yet a long way to go in this aspect.
