Lizzi Miller Makes Plus Sized History

She's a 20-year-old model who appeared in the shiny pages of Glamour magazine wearing nothing but a thong – all 180 pounds of her.

Miller's image appeared next to an article on women's body confidence in Glamour's September 2009 issue. The picture, which highlighted more than Miller's beautiful smile, created quite a buzz. As a size 12-14 Miller more accurately represents today's “average” woman than the thin size 0-4 normally shown on the cover of such magazines. The average women is appreciative. Glamour editor Cindi Leive reports that she has been swamped with positive responses from readers about the photo and article.
