One can hardly imagine that the haunting, husky yodeling voice being played on the FM or the gyrating figure being aired at MTV all over the world would belong to a plus size singer, but that’s exactly how Mariah Carey looks like now. From being a sexy siren and every man’s dream, the singer/songwriter/record producer is totally going “Bye Bye” to her beautiful body.

But she maintains, “I still have curves though.” Mariah Carey is one celebrity who, convincingly enough, thinks that “people should be a size where they’re comfortable with”, although on the same breathy breath she admits that having her picture taken and being on TV does make her realize she needs to tone down a bit, relatively speaking. There is an album around waiting to be released, and sources say she’ll be working out for that, but right now she’s happily putting on weight, saying it’s the effect of being so much in love with husband Nick Cannon.
