Plus Size Mary J. Blige’s Passion to Perform

Since becoming the philanthropist, one can only wonder how plus size performer Mary J. Blige keeps up. Last year she established The Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) “to inspire women from all walks of life to reach their individual potential” by helping them “gain the confidence and skills they need to achieve success.”

The celebrity probably had this thought in mind when she made her soon-to-be-released album “Stronger,” due in November. Most likely, too, she’s describing herself: two movies featuring this plus size superstar are coming out before the year ends. In between filming and recording, it seems Mary J. Blige manages to still keep herself busy, by doing concerts and appearances, her latest at the Presidential Inauguration last January and on “30 Rock” last May. With that kind of energy, who knows what else the plus size celebrity could be up to.
