Kristina is a plus size model in KC.

 
FPS: What made you decide to get into modeling?

At the age of 13, I went to a casting call and talked with an agent. She expressed interest in potentially adding me as talent. I never returned to that agency but with a background rooted in performing arts, I began to miss performing. A simple visit to a friend produced a flyer for model auditions and sent me off on my journey to the top.

FPS: What are the challenges you face as a plus size model?

As a plus size model I face the challenge of being excluded from most auditions submissions and castings. The majority of work in this industry aren't interested in working with trully plus sized model.

 
FPS: What are your ultimate goals as a plus sized woman?

I intend to do my part to fight for full figure models.  We represent the majority of American women. Models of diversity are needed, whether it's diversity in size, ethnicity or personality.

FPS: Where do you see yourself in five years?

 In five years time I see myself contracted to Dereon, Torrid, Lane Bryant and Maybeline. Hopefully I will be intouch with Tyra Banks for mentoring and inspirational purposes.

FPS: What have you liked the most so far about plus size modeling?
 I am in love with the rush I feel during a photo shoot. It's like nothing else.
