If there’s one thing a lot of people do not know about the zaftig Sara Ramirez, it’s that she sings. The full-figured celebrity recently hosted and sang at The Al D. Rodriguez Liver Foundation, a non-profit organization she set up herself that is centered on issues of Hepatitis and cancer of the liver. Thereafter, clips from YouTube have been searched and discovered, featuring Sara Ramirez in undated and unverified locations belting out “Grateful,” to the delight of audience and fans alike.

She is, after all, a Broadway celebrity. Monty Python’s Spamalot, wherein she received a Tony Award, is only one of the many musicals she starred in before landing the role of plus size doctor Callie Torres in the TV medical drama series Grey’s Anatomy. Curvy Sara Ramirez explains, “I would love to continue working on my music and go back to the theater. If I could tour with my music I would do that. But if more TV or film came along I would definitely do that.”
